Words of Wisdom

The United States of America! One of the greatest countries in history! What makes us great is the freedom to live how we see fit. The Constitution guarantees this freedom as long as we do so in a lawful manner.

If we make a choice to break the law and get caught, then we face punishment. The flaw, or downside, is that those who choose to break the law are not always caught or brought to justice. Our founding fathers created this system based on the principles found in the Bible. God created mankind and all things and then gave us a moral code and a set of rules. Then, the powerful, all-knowing God gave us what’s called free will, or the right to choose how we live our lives.

Our system and God’s look alike in many ways; the one major difference is that under God’s, those who choose to do wrong will always face judgment! No one breaks God’s law and gets away with it. You can choose to follow God, or not, you can choose to believe in God or not, you can choose to do good things or bad, but you can’t avoid death or the face-to-face meeting with God on that day!

But you can choose the outcome of that inevitable court date with the creator. If you find yourself in a court of law under man’s law, you are at the mercy of the court, lawyers, and the system; you won’t have much control over the outcome. But on judgment day, when you stand before God, you will have the power to choose Innocent or Guilty! But you must make that choice before that day, it is your choice, choose wisely.
